Thames Tinkers Poster
Poster for this old timey band based out of a little gold mining town in the Waikato.
I wanted to create a design with wild, woodsy elements and an approachable vibe. We chose some common NZ trees and shrubs for the border, and textured, antiquey lettering for the headline.
Featured plants: Agathis australis (Kauri), Macropiper excelsum (Kawakawa), Knightia excelsa (Rewarewa), Metrosideros excelsa (Pohutakawa), Pittosporum crassifolium (Karo), Sophora Microphylla (Kowhai), Cleanthus puniceus (Kaka Beak), Solanum aviculare (Poroporo).
